Base Camp Eatery Rehabilitation at Yosemite Valley Lodge - Yosemite National Park

Treeline Construction Inc. played a central role in the transformation of the Yosemite Valley Lodge food court into what is now Base Camp Eatery—a full redesign and rebuild that modernized the dining experience while integrating thoughtful new finishes and a fresh interior identity. The remodel included a complete demolition of the existing space, a full architectural redesign, and the addition of a new Starbucks Coffee shop as part of the updated visitor amenities.
Treeline was subcontracted to perform all selective historic demolition and to execute the detailed carpentry work that defines the new interior. Our team installed structural and finish carpentry, new casework throughout the café and Starbucks, and all paneling, trim, doors, jambs, and hardware. Every element was crafted and installed with precision to ensure durability, visual cohesion, and seamless integration with the lodge’s architectural character.
Today, Base Camp Eatery serves as a lively hub for Yosemite visitors—offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner with fresh, locally inspired options, indoor and outdoor seating, and a design that nods to Yosemite’s rich rock-climbing heritage. Treeline’s work helped create a warm, welcoming, and durable space that supports high visitor volume while respecting the Lodge’s iconic setting.
