Services

Treeline Construction provides specialized construction and preconstruction services for historic and existing buildings, with a focus on public works and preservation-driven projects. Our work is grounded in a clear understanding of existing conditions, regulatory requirements, and constructibility, allowing us to deliver project-specific solutions that balance preservation, performance, and long-term durability. From early planning through execution, we bring a hands-on, disciplined approach that emphasizes craftsmanship, quality control, and collaborative delivery.

Treeline Construction self-performs all historic preservation construction, maintaining direct control over craftsmanship, sequencing, and quality throughout the work. We execute repairs, restorations, and upgrades that protect character-defining features while meeting modern performance requirements, working in full compliance with the Department of the Interior’s Standards and in close coordination with owners, architects, and agencies.

We deliver new construction projects with the same discipline, planning, and craftsmanship that define our preservation work. From ground-up facilities to complex infill projects, we focus on constructibility, quality control, and coordination across trades to produce durable, high-performing buildings that meet design intent, budget, and schedule—particularly in logistically constrained or high-expectation environments.

Our repair and rehabilitation work focuses on extending the service life of existing buildings through targeted, well-executed interventions. We address structural deficiencies, building envelope failures, and aging systems with a clear understanding of existing conditions, sequencing, and occupied-site constraints, allowing owners to correct deficiencies while minimizing disruption and long-term risk.

Treeline has specialized experience working with adobe structures, where traditional materials and techniques must be balanced with modern performance needs. Our adobe rehabilitation and construction services emphasize material compatibility, moisture management, and structural integrity, ensuring repairs and new work respect historic construction methods while improving durability and resilience.

We perform seismic and structural retrofit work that strengthens existing buildings while respecting architectural and historic constraints. Our approach prioritizes constructibility, access, and phasing, allowing upgrades to be integrated efficiently and with minimal impact to building use or historic fabric—particularly critical for older and high-consequence structures.

Our architectural woodworking services include the fabrication and installation of custom millwork, historic wood repairs, and detailed finish carpentry. Whether replicating historic profiles or executing new architectural elements, our craftsmen focus on precision, material quality, and seamless integration with surrounding construction.

Our Building Conditions Assessments provide a clear, contractor-informed understanding of a building’s existing condition before scopes, budgets, or phasing decisions are finalized. Grounded in real-world constructibility and execution experience, our assessments identify risks, deficiencies, and opportunities early—helping owners and design teams make informed decisions and reduce surprises during design and construction.

Treeline prepares project-specific Historic Preservation Treatment Plans developed to satisfy the specification requirements of federal, state, and local public works projects. Each plan is tailored to the unique historic elements and conditions present on the project site, documenting existing conditions and defining approved treatment methods for protection, repair, and restoration in accordance with applicable preservation standards. These plans provide agencies and project teams with a clear, construction-ready framework for compliant execution of historic work.
