New Comfort Station Camp 4 Yosemite National Park (2018 to 2019)

Location: Yosemite National Park

Overview: As part of the designation of Camp 4 in the National Register of Historic Places, campground improvements were approved, including a new comfort station with showers. Like the Mariposa Grove buildings, Camp 4 Comfort Station, is a combination of timber framing, log infrastructure, and cedar siding.

Treeline’s role: Construction of this new structure was subcontracted to Treeline, and Treeline self-performed all aspects of construction, from concrete to finish, within Divisions 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 including quality control, safety, and project management. Treeline procured and shaped the Douglas fir logs for the exterior patio rafters, posts, and beams, installed the cedar shingle roof, and handed off this very public structure ahead of schedule.
