Curry Village Historic Guest Lounge, Registration Building and Amphitheater Rehabilitations

Location: Yosemite National Park

Overview: Both buildings were rehabilitated including structural upgrades to the foundations, walls, new roof super structures. All windows and doors were repaired/reconditioned. The floors were removed and reconstructed etc.

Treeline’s role: Supervision, QC, Safety, and self-performing Divisions 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8. On this project Treeline shared a unique relationship with National Park Service Historic Preservation crew in which some components of the exterior log bark wainscot siding was provided by NPS. Treeline fabricated a special mill to provide slots in log beams for the insertion of steel plates. The mill was then used to assist in the fabrication of the bark siding being installed by NPS.
